The auspicious year of Loong ends with the start of the fortunate year of Snake. On January 10,2025, S.C held the Business Review and Award Ceremony 2024 in a lavish manner, which was organized by its Human Resources Department. It consisted of three parts: annual business review, outstanding contributors awards and lucky draw. In this process, we reviewed our accomplishments achieved by our sweats in 2024, and honored those outstanding individuals and teams to encourage all staff to work as a whole, so as to create new glory of development of S.C.

At the 13: 58 on January 10, the leadership team of S.C and its subsidiaries, about 70 people, attended the award ceremony at the Shenzhen main venue, with over 10,000 people across various industries watching the live streaming. With the dazzling light beam dancing on the screen and the exciting countdown of 5 seconds, the S.C Business Review and Award Ceremony 2024 finally kicked off, symbolizing the robust driving force of development and the world-beating achievements of S.C

Mr. Zuo Guojun, the Chairman of S.C, delivered his opening speech, in which he made analysis of  the present development of PV manufacturing and summarization of the key works of 2024 and the remarkable fruits hereof and pointed out the key targets of work in 2025. According to him, S.C has witnessed rises and falls of PV industry during its 21-year development, therefore, the blood of S.C staff already contained the composure facing changing situations and the persistence of wading through the cold winter. Amid the adverse conditions of 2024, S.C calmly coped with various challenges, putting the focus on addressing the debt, protection of intellectual property rights and progress of R&D programs and others. As the result, the debt collection has reached the expectation and the management of R&D projects has also seen some improvements. He also noted that S.C will keep improving its every aspect to solidify its operation foundation and increase the possibility of success. At last, he also presented his expectation that all staff of S.C will strive harder for better achievements.

It was followed by Mr. Yu Zhong, the General Manager of S.C, who summarized the main achievements in 2024 from the technological innovation, market expansion, company management and other aspects. Mr. Yu pointed out that S.C, as the benchmark of PV industry, always upholds the strategy of advanced technology, excellent management and outstanding service and always keep committed to putting customer at the center, using technological innovation as the engine and taking cutting the cost and improving efficiency as the goal. To be more specific, S.C swum against the current during the PV industry winter, achieving remarkable results through developing new products while continuously improving our product mix, the process, and our service. That’s what makes S.C not only maintain its leadership in domestic market, but also see new breakthroughs in overseas market, all of which have shaped the sound foundation for the globalization of S.C. Looking ahead to 2025, he sincerely hoped that all workers of S.C could align all the strengths to achieve share objectives, uphold fundamental principles and break new grounds, eventually getting through the off season of PV industry and embracing the promising future of S.C.

Then to spark the enthusiasm of working hard, the leadership awarded a group of teams and individuals for their outstanding performance in 2024. After the selection by every business group, center and department, we had 204 excellent workers, 50 excellent managers, 5 excellent instructors, 6 excellent participants of 2024 Class, 5 excellent workers in IP and 20 excellent teams. After nominating by the host, Chair Zuo Guojun and GM Yu Zhong went up on the stage to gave out awards to 20 excellent teams, hoping all staff of S.C would take them as their model and strive to achieve the common development of S.C and themselves.

After that, the representative of Shenzhen excellent managers, Yu Haitao, and the representative of Changzhou excellent teams came up to the stage and delivered their acceptance speeches, in which they shared their growth journeys and proven strategies—how they improved their competence and pursued excellence; discovered and solved problems; developed equipment and upgraded technologies; managed projects and did the customer service. Their sharing stood as a testimony to the spirit of bold exploration and pushing boundaries. Their words proved their passion to their job, gratitude to their teams and their visions of the future, all of which will encourage each people of S.C to work harder.

2024 is a fruitful year and 2025 will be one year full of hope. For celebrating the Spring Festival, such representatives of each department expressed their best wishes for the coming year through the video.

We bade our farewell to last year with our sincere wishes and welcome the new year with our smiles. In order to let every employee feel the care from S.C, each staff member was guaranteed a gift at this award ceremony. Over 3,700 prizes were awarded in total, including more than 80 Outstanding Prizes, 190 First Prizes, 290 Second Prizes, 300 Third Prizes, 380 Fourth Prizes, 480 Fifth Prizes, 750 Sixth Prizes, and 1,300 Consolation Prizes. The prize could be smart phone, lucky money, rice and so on, which bore the gratitude and best wishes of S.C to its every employee. Those lucky participants were selected randomly through raffle draw on the screen. During this part, all staff were so nervous and excited that they held their breath and tried to spot their own name every time when leaders were about to click the button of “Stop”. The venue was permeated with happy atmosphere and full of laugh.

With the result of Outstanding Prize coming out, this award ceremony came to an end with the cheer of everybody. This ceremony didn’t only recognize achievements accomplished during 2024, but also motivate all workers to fight, with strong enthusiasm and resolution, for a more glorious future.
